Birlasoft, part of the CK Birla Group, has announced the appointment of Prabhanjan Prasoon as Senior Director – Talent Acquisition, further strengthening its people strategy at a time of rapid transformation and digital acceleration.
In his new role, Prabhanjan will lead strategic hiring initiatives and workforce planning, with a focus on scaling talent acquisition capabilities to support business growth across global markets.
A familiar name at Birlasoft, he began his career with the company in 2005, contributing for over six years in the Resource Management Group (RMG). During this time, he was instrumental in resource forecasting, skills gap analysis, global bench management, and recruitment coordination between offshore and onsite teams.
Following his initial tenure at Birlasoft, he joined Sopra Steria, where he spent nearly 14 years in progressive leadership roles—first as Head – PMG (Resourcing) and later as Head – Talent Acquisition. There, he led large-scale hiring programs, drove recruitment alignment with business goals, and oversaw cross-functional stakeholder management.
His return to Birlasoft reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its HR leadership with professionals who bring deep organizational understanding and external perspective.
