Lloyds Technology Centre India Appoints Ritesh Jha as Head, Talent Acquisition

HRostrum NewsDesk | November 2025

HRostrum is delighted to announce that Ritesh Jha has been appointed as the Head, Talent Acquisition at Lloyds Technology Centre India, effective November 1, 2025. With an illustrious career spanning over 20 years across BFSI, technology, internet, retail, operations, analytics, and global capability centres, Ritesh brings a rare combination of strategic depth, operational excellence, and visionary leadership to Lloyds’ India talent engine.

In his new role, Ritesh will lead the full spectrum of talent acquisition for Lloyds Technology Centre India—focusing on tech hiring, location strategy, leadership hiring, DEI-led pipelines, employer branding, talent benchmarking, and advisory-driven transformation. His mandate includes building scalable recruitment models that support Lloyds Banking Group’s technology expansion and its mission to strengthen India as a core engineering and digital delivery hub.

Ritesh’s career journey reflects exceptional breadth and impact. Before joining Lloyds, he served as Senior Vice President – Tech Recruiting (Asia) at Citi India, where he managed Asia-wide technology hiring across all product groups, led automation and assessment initiatives, enabled global tech hiring programs, and drove DEI, employer branding, and talent transformation mandates.

Prior to Citi, he was TA Head – India & Philippines and Global TA Head – BPO Business at FIS, overseeing multi-country talent acquisition strategies and global delivery. At Allegis Global Solutions, Ritesh built market-aligned TA practices, and drove automation, digitisation, branding, and RPO-led solutions while being part of the India RPO leadership team.

Ritesh has also led talent acquisition at Info Edge India Ltd, where he established the Recruiting CoE, built early career models, scaled lateral hiring, and led hiring for Product, Tech, Data Science, Business, Sales, and Corporate functions. At Citi Technology Center India, he played a key role in establishing Citi’s largest brownfield technology centre outside the USA, delivering 1,800+ hires across investment banking, enterprise risk, custody, trade, and private banking.

His leadership foundation was shaped at GE, where he led TA for GE Capital, Tax & Treasury CoEs, the SBI Cards JV, GE Energy, and GE Oil & Gas across India and South East Asia—managing multi-billion-dollar P&Ls and driving enterprise-level TA standards. His early career across Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and Infosys built his strong fundamentals in HRBP, technology hiring, and leadership sourcing.

Known for his motto of Trust – Collaboration – Transparency, Ritesh is celebrated for empowering TA teams, championing metric-driven performance, and leveraging technology for hiring transformation, candidate experience, and quality of hire. His ability to build stakeholder trust across global teams makes him a transformational leader at a time when Lloyds is expanding its India technology footprint.

HRostrum congratulates Ritesh Jha on this significant leadership appointment and wishes him continued success as he shapes the next phase of talent acquisition excellence at Lloyds Technology Centre India.
