Shailaja Pathania has been promoted to Deputy General Manager – Public Affairs & CSR (Southwest Asia) at Samsung Electronics, marking an important milestone in her distinguished leadership journey spanning over 16 years across public affairs, policy engagement, and strategic communications.
Her elevation reflects Samsung’s confidence in her ability to steer purpose-led initiatives and strengthen the organization’s engagement with government institutions, civil society, and global stakeholders.
Shailaja has been associated with Samsung for more than seven years, steadily progressing through leadership roles including Manager and Chief Manager – Public Affairs & CSR before assuming the Deputy General Manager position. In these roles, she has been instrumental in building strategic partnerships, managing large-scale CSR portfolios, and aligning corporate initiatives with national priorities and regulatory frameworks.
Before joining Samsung, she held key positions across globally recognized organizations including EssilorLuxottica, Invest India, Bain & Company, and Deloitte, gaining deep experience in public policy, strategy consulting, and stakeholder engagement. Her career reflects a unique blend of corporate strategy, government collaboration, and brand reputation management.
Academically, Shailaja holds a Master’s degree in Strategy Management from Lancaster University, demonstrating a strong foundation that bridges technology, policy, and business strategy.
In her expanded role, she will take on broader responsibilities in shaping public affairs strategy, strengthening stakeholder partnerships, and advancing impactful CSR initiatives across the Southwest Asia region.
