Hrostrum is delighted to share exciting news from the HR and Talent Acquisition ecosystem. Shubham Ishwarkatti Rana, an accomplished campus recruitment and early careers strategist, has embarked on a new professional journey with BDO, where he will be Managing India Campus Recruitment & Programs.
In his new role, Shubham will be spearheading end-to-end campus strategy and execution across BDO’s diverse business verticals including Engineering, Business & CA Schools, Direct and Indirect Tax Services, Transaction Advisory, Assurance, Outsourcing, Deal Advisory, Risk Advisory, International Tax, and more.
His mandate covers strategic workforce planning, targeted engagement with top-tier institutions, employer branding, data-driven hiring insights, vendor collaboration, and innovative campus engagement programs – all designed to strengthen BDO’s positioning as a preferred destination for high-potential early-career talent.
Professional Journey
Shubham brings with him a decade of rich experience in leading campus recruitment, DEI-focused hiring, and employer branding initiatives across global organizations. He has successfully driven early-career hiring strategies as Lead – Campus Recruiting Program, India GCC at EPAM Systems, served as Deputy Manager – Global Campus Recruiting Program, APAC at Barclays, and contributed as Lead – Campus Recruiting Program, India at BNY Mellon. Prior to that, he gained valuable experience as Senior Officer – Global Campus Recruiting, APAC at Hexaware Technologies and as Senior Executive – Campus Recruiting Program, India at Tata Group, building a strong foundation in campus talent engagement and scalable recruitment practices.
Throughout his career, Shubham has consistently demonstrated expertise in designing scalable hiring strategies, strengthening diversity pipelines, and creating impactful pre-boarding to onboarding experiences.
Accomplishments
A recipient of the Wow Award and Extra Mile Award, Shubham is known for his ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. Fluent in Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, and English, he leverages communication and relationship-building skills to nurture strong connections with students, academia, and industry stakeholders.
