HRostrum is delighted to share that Sushant Kumar has joined EY Global Shared Services as Assistant Director – Early Career Program, marking a key milestone in the journey of one of India’s most dynamic early-talent and university relations leaders.
In his new role at EY, Sushant will design, implement, and scale end-to-end programs for early-career talent, including internship pipelines, graduate talent development, and professional readiness initiatives. His mandate also includes internship immersion programs, COE lab design, employer branding, and shaping capability-building interventions for emerging professionals — helping EY strengthen its future-fit talent ecosystem.
With 12+ years of deep cross-industry experience in early careers, university relations, HR analytics, employer branding and talent strategy, Sushant has built an exceptional career across renowned organizations such as Brillio, Tata Technologies, WNS, Mindteck, HCL Technologies, and Siemens. At Brillio, he led early career program management, D&I hiring, AI-led TA transformation, and COE initiatives, while at Tata Technologies he drove APAC-wide campus hiring, HR analytics, social media brand building, and served as a D&I Brand Ambassador.
Throughout his career, he has managed large university relations portfolios, built scalable hiring engines across India & APAC, supported multiple business verticals, and earned awards such as HR Leader of the Year 2022, Emerging HR Leader Award, Best Recruiter Award, and Indian Achievers Award. As a top 250 HR Leader (2023), Sushant is also a visiting faculty at premier institutes including IIM-N, IIM-B, IIT-K, TAPMI, NMIMS, Goa Institute of Management, and several others — mentoring students, early professionals, and HR communities nationwide.
An alumnus of TAPMI (Business Analytics & Decision Science) and an engineering graduate from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Sushant blends analytical thinking with people-first leadership, making him a strong advocate for future-ready talent and inclusive hiring strategies.
