Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has confirmed the appointment of Sudeep Kunnumal as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective March 14, 2025. Kunnumal, a TCS veteran with over two decades of experience, will take over from Milind Lakkad, who is stepping down upon his superannuation.
About Sudeep Kunnumal
Sudeep Kunnumal brings over 25 years of experience in human resources to his new role. He joined TCS in 2006 and has held several key positions, including:
- Global Head of Human Resources for the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) segment.
- Director of HR for the Asia Pacific region.
- Head of Talent Acquisition in India.
- Head of HR for Europe.
Before joining TCS, Kunnumal served as the Head of HR at Petro Araldite Pvt. Ltd. and as a Senior Personnel Officer at Indo Matsushita Appliances Company Limited. He holds a Master of Social Work in personnel management from Madurai Kamaraj University and completed his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, focusing on Science and Mathematics.
